The National Gardening Association announced that the Park Seed Co. is the newest sponsor of NGA's GROW Campaign. GROW is a year-round promotional campaign that raises awareness for gardening and demonstrates its importance to individuals, schools and communities.
"Park Seed is proud to sponsor an organization like NGA, that promotes and enhances the well-being of the gardening community through education, environmental awareness, and commitment," says Tiffaney Murphy, Community Relations Director, Park Seed. "We believe this partnership is a perfect fit."
In addition to its role in the GROW campaign, Park Seed is sponsoring three NGA newsletters: the highly regarded Kids Garden News e-newsletter, as well as two new electronic publications Moss in the City, devoted to urban gardening; and Edible Landscaping with Charlie Nardozzi, a compendium of information about growing fruits, herbs and vegetables in the landscape.
"As a GROW sponsor, Park Seed is demonstrating their corporate commitment to our vision of connecting people to plants in the areas of plant-based education, health and wellness, environmental stewardship, community development, and home gardening," explains Mike Metallo, President, NGA. "Park Seed's sponsorship of our newsletters will enable us to increase our reach and to continue our quest to raise awareness for the healthful benefits of gardening."
