Diesel engine manufacturer Perkins Engines has announced the appointment of three new master distributors for its North American operations.
Perkins in North America has seven master distributors in the United States and three in Canada. In all the master distributors support the activities of more than 1,000 engine dealers in North America.
“Our presence in North America is spearheaded by our strategically positioned master distributors,” explains Jeremy Canham, Perkins vice president, North America. “Each one is a specialist engine house that offers comprehensive power packages for OEMs and end users. They also direct, through their stocked warehouses, the aftermarket support of Perkins’ parts and dealer services.”
Perkins Power Northeast, Hammonton, N.J., will cover West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachussetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
Perkins QM, Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada, will cover all of Quebec and Maritime Provinces.
Perkins Western Canada, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, covers British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and most of the Northwest Territories.
The company’s third Canadian master distributor, Diesel Distribution, based near Toronto, has expanded its territory coverage. In addition to all of Ontario, the distributor now covers Manitoba, Newfoundland/Labrador and Nunavut.
