Paul M. Scholl was named to the newly created position of Executive Vice-President RedMax/Zenoah America in Lawrenceville, Ga. The appointment of Scholl to the position was effective Feb. 20, 2007.
With more than 25 years of experience in the lawn and garden and outdoor power equipment industries, Scholl brings a vital and comprehensive inventory of credentials to the RedMax/Zenoah organization. Most recently, Scholl was the Director of Sales for Parker Minuteman prior to its acquisition in 2006 by Kwik Products in Phoenix, Ariz.
Prior to that, Scholl had been in numerous management and sales and marketing positions with Echo, Inc. in Lake Zurich, Ill. He was credited with the evolution of a dealer and distributor sales organization of that company, which grew to become an industry leader.
RedMax/Zenoah is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year as a manufacturer and marketer of outdoor power equipment in the United States. The evolution and the appointment of Scholl to this position further accentuate the aggressive posture that RedMax is taking to maintain its technological and marketing leadership position within the industry.
“RedMax is more than an opportunity. We will be one of the leading lawn and garden equipment/outdoor power equipment manufacturers in the 21st century,” said Scholl. “Our product line and technological superiority to all other manufacturers—particularly with our Strato-Charged™ Technology—afford opportunities available to no other manufacturer, distributor, or, more importantly, dealer in the world today.
“Over the coming months we have plans for many new and exciting initiatives to offer our distributors, dealers and end users to drive the RedMax brand like never before,” Scholl continued. “The recently announced acquisition of Zenoah Japan (parent company of RedMax) by Husqvarna Sweden positions us with an industry powerhouse and ally that will make us a formidable force in the marketplace.”
