Chalet Hires Sartorius
Steve Sartorius has been hired as a turfgrass specialist for Chalet’s lawn care department.
Sartorius came from the University of Wisconsin, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Soil Sciences. He is a member of the UW turf club. Sartorius worked in the green industry during his last two years at school.
Chalet is located in North Chicago.
Chapman joins Crawford
Crawford Landscaping Group has hired Rick Chapman as supervisor for its multi-family division.
A 2000 graduate of Edison College (turf program), Chapman holds the industry designation of Certified Florida Horticultural professional from the Florida Nursery Growers Landscape Association.
Previously a horticulture management supervisor for a local landscape company, Chapman’s experience includes responsibility for customer relations for numerous accounts and the overseeing of 10 crews, 40 crew members total. He is an 11-year veteran of the landscaping industry and has spent five years as a golf course superintendent.
A native of St. Henry, Ohio, Chapman enjoys grilling, golfing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He lives in Ft. Myers, Fla. with his wife.
Nearly two years old, Crawford Landscaping Group of Naples, Fla. serves clients including Mediterra, The Inn at Pelican Bay, Wildcat Run, the Vineyards and Pelican Marsh. Its 45 employees, all of whom receive full employee benefits, serve more than 500 commercial and residential clients.
