Stay Green Names OC/Inland Empire Business Developer

Stay Green, a Santa Clarita, Calif., landscape contracting firm, has recently appointed Certified Arborist Don Nock to head its tree care sales efforts in parts of Orange County and all of the Inland Empire.

Nock’s territory extends from Temecula through Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, and covers many parts of southern Orange County as well. He will operate out of SGI’s San Marcos office.

New to the company, Nock has almost 30 years of landscape and tree care experience – much of it in the sales end of the business. Starting out in Cleveland, Ohio (where tradesmen must work a certain number of years at one level before advancing to a higher one) Nock learned the power of perseverance and determination in achieving one’s goals. His personal goal for SGI Tree Care Division sales is $100,000 per month.

Also important to Nock is continuing education, which he believes is essential to personal and professional advancement. He has taken several community college night courses in business, accounting and plant health care throughout the years, and studied to receive his ISA Certified Arborist designation through the International Society of Arboriculture. Nock has been a business owner himself, and brings those vital customer service skills and attitudes he’s learned to his new SGI position.

Nock is married, has two daughters ages 4 and 11, and lives in Temecula. He enjoys the outdoors – especially the beach – and loves “hanging out with the kids” and taking them to Sea World.
