Ewing Names Christine Hawkins Water Management Specialist

Ewing Irrigation, a player in promoting the importance of water conservation to irrigation professionals, announced the appointment of Christine Hawkins as water management specialist serving Central California.

"In pursuit of Ewing's commitment to water conservation, Ewing is continuing to add qualified professionals to advocate the use of water efficient products," says Warren Gorowitz, Ewing's national water management products sales manager. "As Ewing's foothold in the Central California market increases, there was a need to give customers a knowledgeable, water management source-we found that Christine was the perfect candidate."

Hawkins joins Ewing with an environmental horticulture science degree from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, previous experience as a horticulture specialist, and a passion for sustaining California's environment.

"I want to increase the use of water efficient technology in water municipalities, parks, school districts throughout the region," Hawkins said. "In the future there will be water restrictions and it is essential to start educating people now on what they can do to conserve water."

Water management is imperative to California's wealth and economic well being, and Hawkins is dedicated to giving customers information on Ewing's Water Management Product Line, as well as keeping them up to date with the latest water conservation industry trends.

Hawkins will be based out of Ewing's Clovis, Calif. branch.

Ewing Irrigation offers commercial and residential irrigation supplies, landscape and agronomic products, water management solutions, low-voltage lighting, erosion control, water features and industrial plastics to professionals serving the landscaping, turf, golf, and industrial industries.
