PBI/Gordon Names Director of Marketing
PBI/Gordon Corp. promoted Laylah VanBibber to the position of director of marketing. In addition to her responsibilities for the company’s communications, Laylah will be active in the strategic planning efforts as the company continues to chart its future growth.
VanBibber has worked for PBI/Gordon for 21 years, most recently serving as Marketing Manager.
VanBibber is a well-known figure in both the landscape and golf course markets. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, she is active in promoting growth in the turf and ornamental and professional agricultural industries through local and national organizations. She is a member of Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the National Agri-Marketing Association and the Turf and Ornamental Communications Association.
Target Specialty Products Hires Account Representative

Sarah Jasper is the newest account representative for Target Specialty Products in its pest management and landscape markets in the Sacramento area.
Jasper is a recent graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticultural Science, with a minor in Plant Protection Science. She holds a Pest Control Advisors license.
Before joining Target, Jasper worked at The Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar, Calif., and Bella Vista Landscape Services in San Jose, Calif.

LawnGrips Expands Sales Capabilities

LawnGrips appointed Zac Fellabaum to the new position of sales manager – U.S. and Latin America.
The announcement was made by Company President Russ Stark, who said LawnGrips is expanding its sales capabilities so it can better serve the needs of current customers and meet a growing nationwide demand for its expanding line of footwear.
“We have a strong network of manufacturer sales representatives and an increasing number of independent lawn/garden and shoe dealers across the country now selling LawnGrips shoes,” says Stark, who started the Lake Oswego, Oregon-based company five years ago after learning that mowing accidents resulted in over 70,000 visits to emergency rooms each year in the United States alone.
Fellabaum joins LawnGrips after serving three years with public accounting firm, KPMG, in Austin, Tex. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Spanish from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colo., and has recently passed the CPA exam. He lives in Austin with his wife Nicole.
LawnGrips footwear features the Grip-N-Go outsole based on a soccer shoe design for maximum forward and lateral traction, even on wet grass.
GTO Names Midwest Territory Sales Manager for Commercial and Residential Line

GTO, a designer and provider of the GTO Access Systems line of commercial and residential operators and access controls, hired John Schieb as Midwest territory sales manager.
Based in McMurray, Pa., Schieb will cover the Mid-West states of Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. He represents the complete GTO Access Systems line of products including Mighty Mule and GTO/PRO branded Automatic Gate Openers and Access Controls.
Before joining GTO, Inc., Schieb was the national account manager for hardware supplier WW Henry Company in Aliquippa, Penn. While there, he handled major account such as Ace Hardware and True Value Hardware and was recognized for increasing hardware sales by more than 60 percent.
Schieb also served as account sales manager for QPI Tool Incorporated where he opened multiple new accounts with a number of clients including Home Base, Wickes and 84 Lumber.
In his new position, Schieb will represent GTO Access Systems’ complete line of residential, commercial and industrial line of retail and professional line of gate operators and access controls.
“I’m pleased about the opportunity to apply my extensive sales experience to GTO’s line of products,” said Schieb. “I’ll be introducing GTO’s high quality line of products to many of my sales contacts in the Mid-West area.”
