BARTLETT PROMOTES STEPHEN JOHNSTON TO VICE PRESIDENT. The F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Co. has promoted of Stephen Johnston to vice president and Southeast division manager. Johnston has been responsible for the company’s operations in the Southeast United States for more than five years. As vice president, he will continue this work and further the company’s growth and development in this area of the country.
Johnston joined Bartlett in 1994 as an arborist representative. Three years later, he was promoted to local manager and then district manager in 2000. Prior to joining the company, he owned Johnston Tree for six years, serving customers in the Boca Raton, Fla. area.
“Under Steve’s leadership, we’ve significantly expanded division sales and opened a number of new offices in the Southeast,” said Greg Daniels, president of Bartlett Tree Experts. “His pursuit of continued growth and commitment to safety for all his employees are just a few of the attributes we are acknowledging through this promotion.”
As a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists and both the Georgia and South Carolina Urban Community Forest Councils, Johnston is dedicated to preserving the health of local forests and urban landscapes. He is an ISA-Certified Arborist and active participant in his local ISA chapter where he serves on the annual conference planning committee.

CSECH JOINS PROFILE PRODUCTS. Profile Products recently welcomed Karen Csech to the company. Csech is Profile’s executive sales assistant and will work with Profile’s sales managers to process distributor information and fulfill customer requests.
Csech comes to Profile after working as an executive assistant to the president at Medcor in McHenry, Ill. Prior to working at Medcor, Csech worked as a customer service/office manager with DMB Enterprises, also in McHenry.
Csech received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University and an associate’s degree in business administration from MiraCosta College in Oceanside, Calif. In addition, Csech previously served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marines Corp.
