HUSQVARNA NAMES STANUSH PRODUCT MANAGER. Husqvarna, has named Andy Stanush product manager for its extensive line of products in the chain saw and powercutter category. Stanush will be responsible for marketing the current chain saw product line-up as well as the introduction of new products. He will interact with the corporate research and development staff as well as the sales and customer service departments to meet customer needs, anticipate market demands and develop new opportunities.
Prior to joining Husqvarna, Stanush was a product manager for Corning in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was responsible for leading the overall strategy, establishing product pricing and positioning initiatives, and analyzing market data for key product lines. He has earned four patents for his work as well as several corporate awards for excellence in performance.

GIRARD COS. ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS. The Girard Cos., Sanford, Fla., has recently announced two promotions for Girard Environmental Services. Brian Weatherby was recently promoted to senior vice president for the company. In his new position, he will oversee all employees and activities for Girard Environmental Services’ construction services and management services divisions, which generate more than $16 million in annual revenue.
Previously, Weatherby was vice president for Girard Environmental Services’ management services division. He has worked with owners Rick and Randy Girard for more than 10 years.

Ken Doyle also is taking on a senior vice president position with The Girard Cos., parent company of Girard Environmental Services, Girard Pool & Patio, Girard Wholesale Nurseries, and Girard Garden Centers. Doyle has served as corporate controller of The Girard Cos. for the past year and a half. In his new position, he is responsible for the financial results and operations of The Girard Cos. and its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining The Girard Cos., Doyle worked as a public accountant and was a chief financial officer of a publicly held company. In addition, he served for 14 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and received his MBA from Webster University.
