Hunter Industries announced the addition of two more members to the company’s growing roster of national sales representatives.

Profile Products' Lauro Earns CPESC Certification

Fla
Frank Lauro

Profile Products announced that Frank Lauro, Profile's market development manager for the Western United States, has achieved the highly regarded Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) designation.  With this certification, Lauro can assist in designing and evaluating erosion and sediment control plans, influence land-use planning decisions and educate professionals in strategies and site programs to comply with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II regulations.

A CPESC is a recognized specialist in soil erosion and sediment control.  The certification program is sponsored by the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the International Erosion Control Association and is administered in cooperation with the American Society of Agronomy.

Through a process of peer review and exams, Lauro earned his CPESC designation by meeting established standards of expertise, experience and knowledge.  Each CPESC applicant must successfully pass a written test designed to determine proficiency in the principles, practices and legislation of erosion and sediment control.  Applicants must also meet a combination of educational and professional experience requirements to earn CPESC certification.  Profile Products currently has three CPESC-certified experts on staff to provide erosion and sediment control assistance.

Lauro joined Profile Products in January 2006 and brought considerable knowledge of storm water systems gained through his experience as a civil engineer.  Lauro received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington, a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is a registered civil engineer in the state of California.
