TANGENT, Ore. – The Pickseed Companies Group is pleased to announce the formation of a new entity called TurfOne. TurfOne is established as a premier source of turfgrass seed for golf, sod, sports turf and landscape.
The Oregon-based company was formerly operated as Roberts Seed Company. TurfOne products include highly-ranked varieties like Mach I Perennial Ryegrass, Quantum Leap Kentucky Bluegrass, Watchdog Tall Fescue, and TransEze Transitional Ryegrass, among others. TurfOne seed is available from quality turf distributors throughout the U.S.
TurfOne is led by industry veterans. Tom Burns, with over 30 years experience, will continue as general manager of the company. He is supported by Mary Beth Menard, sales account executive, and Dave Friesen, marketing director, both of whom bring significant industry, marketing and management experience to the team. Robert Clark, president and COO of The Pickseed Companies Group, stated, “TurfOne will be a distinct entity, committed to delivering superior customer service and satisfaction, while leveraging the research and production strengths of The Pickseed Companies Group.”
