Los Angeles – With 2,709 corporate decision makers in attendance, The Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) concluded its annual Office Building show last week in Anaheim, Calif. First time exhibitor, Plants at Work shared quantifiable values and benefits of interior planting in buildings. Walking away with over 150 leads for program sponsors, Plants at Work Director of Media Relations and President of Gilhooley Consulting, Inc. MJ Gilhooley said that the tradeshow was a true success.
"Through the hard work of our booth volunteers we were able to glean the most out of our BOMA experience," said Gilhooley. "The leads that we obtained, such as the Social Security Administration and U.S. Bank, are being divided among Plants at Work investors based on geographic region," continued Gilhooley.
Booth workers handed out more than 400 copies of the new Plants at Work directory to interested attendees. Designed with the interests of BOMA attendees in mind, the directory included copies of the "Authentically Green Interiors" white paper presented at GreenBuild last year along with a comprehensive listing of current sponsors.
"The directory was a huge success,” Gilhooley said. “Four hundred of the most influential decision makers responsible for government and corporate buildings, walked away with the tools necessary to optimize natures' technology – and hire our interiorscapers"
McRae Anderson, director of the Plants at Work program recognized the help provided from industry members. "We extend our gratitude to all our sponsors and colleagues who helped make BOMA a success,” Anderson said. “Olive Hill Greenhouses again donated and trucked in beautiful plants, and the booth workers, Regina Heller of DesignScapes; Vicky Cate, Evergreen Interiors; Susi Tomich and Jeanne Smolinski of Plantscapers; and Christian Yuhas from CY Plant Services."
