MARIETTA, Ga. – The Professional Lawn Care Association of
America (PLCAA) begins 2004 with Jim Campanella leading its membership.
The green industry veteran with 21 years of experience has been involved with PLCAA for many years, rising through the ranks as an officer, board member and committee member. And this year he’s serving as the association’s president.
“I am proud the membership asked me to lead the association for 2004. I look forward to giving back to the industry that has been so good to me,” Campanella said. “My goal is to lead an aggressive campaign that reminds our members, the public and the media that we are responsible for making the world a greener, safer, cleaner place to live. As an industry, we are proud of our environmental accomplishments.”
In 1997, Campanella and a partner founded The Lawn Dawg, a lawn care company with five locations in four states. He also served as president of the Massachusetts Association of Lawn Care Professionals (MALCP) in 2003.
“Jim will bring great leadership and energy to this key role,” said Gary Clayton, executive vice president of PLCAA. His enthusiasm and professionalism are tremendous qualities that will serve our association well.”
