INDIANAPOLIS – The Professional Lawn Care Association of America’s (PLCAA) Green Industry Conference, Nov. 3-7, will be held in conjunction with the Green Industry Expo, Nov. 4-7, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The conference features sessions, roundtables, product demonstrations and a trade show geared toward lawn care professionals.
PLCAA’s educational program includes sessions designed to enhance a company’s management and marketing success, such as "Tax Strategies That Work" with Sandy Botkin, Tax Reduction Institute, and "Builders or Destroyers: How Does Your Staff Measure Up?" with Jim Paluch, JP Horizons Inc.
A panel of homeowners and lawn care professionals will help attendees learn how homeowners view the industry in a point-counterpoint session titled "If the Customer is Always Right, Why Don’t We Listen?"
GREENTEAM DAY. The final day of PLCAA’s conference is GreenTeam Day, a day "dedicated to the lawn and landscape employee." GreenTeam Day attendees, who pay $35 for Nov. 7 registration only, can enjoy Power Breakfast Roundtables, conference sessions, the trade show and the GIE General Session.
The day is designed for companies not able to sign up for the full conference package or those that just want to send their employees to one day of the show. GreenTeam Day sessions include:

PLCAA’s Green Industry Conference is held in conjunction with the Green Industry Conferences of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America and the Professional Grounds Management Society.
Pre-registrations for PLCAA’s conference will be accepted at the organization’s office through Oct. 27. After the deadline, attendees can sign up onsite for full conference or daily registrations. PLCAA’s on-site registration desk opens at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 4 and continues daily through Nov. 7.
