Pleasant Places has named Patrick Savage to the position of director of experience.
In his new role, Savage will continue to spearhead the company's marketing efforts while expanding his responsibilities to enhance the overall experiences for customers, employees, partners, suppliers and contractors.
“Efficiency cannot be overstated in our upcoming growing years,” says Palmer Artigues, chief operating officer. “We appreciate Patrick’s hard work, positive can-do attitude and all the accomplishments he’s made to our marketing in just a short period of time. As we grow, adding employees like him with outside experience will be important to our continued successes.”
Savage comes to Pleasant Places after a career at Speedway Motorsports. He served as the senior manager of digital & creative design at Bristol Motor Speedway. He was also part of the marketing team during the complex endeavor of the Battle at Bristol, NCAA football's largest single-game attendance.
Savage's new focus will be on reinforcing and strengthening the Pleasant Places brand and culture. He will achieve this through initiatives in employee recruiting, retention, and training; enhancing operating procedures, and implementing technology improvements to streamline operations.
“It is an exciting time at Pleasant Places, Inc., and I am thrilled to be part of its growth," Savage says. “Over the last 40 years the Pleasant Places, Inc. brand has been one of the best commercial landscaping companies in the Lowcountry. I am proud to be part of it now and bring my experiences here.”
