Prime Source, the specialty products division of Albaugh, LLC, announced Steve Jedrzejek, proprietary products manager, has announced his retirement following a respected career that spanned more than 40 years in roles that included marketing, product development, technical services and executive leadership roles within the turf and ornamental industries. He has been with Prime Source since 2018.
Albaugh also announced that Matt Wilkinson has joined the company as proprietary products manager. In this role, Wilkinson will be leading selling initiatives for the growing proprietary specialty product portfolio across the U.S. He brings nearly 30 years of green-industry experience with previous roles in agronomy, golf course management, as well as turf, ornamental, golf and sports turf product sales and portfolio development.
“This is an exciting time of transition for our specialty products sales team,” says Russ Mitchell, director of Prime Source/Specialty. “Steve has had a remarkable career and we are honored that he shared part of it with us. Our product offerings are stronger because of the work that he has done here, and we congratulate him on his well-deserved retirement.
“At the same time, we are excited to welcome Matt to the Albaugh team,” Mitchell adds. “He brings a wealth of experience in several aspects of the industries that we serve and will be a great asset to the team as we continue to promote and manage our proprietary specialty product portfolio.”
Wilkinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture/Turf & Landscape Management from Oregon State University and resides in Denver, Colo.
