Florida’s landscape industry continues to highlight education and professionalism through the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) certification programs, offering training and testing in many areas of the state. St. Petersburg’s Pinellas Technical Education Center (PTEC) will host the summer certification program.

FNGLA’s Certified Landscape Contractor (FCLC) and Designer (FCLD) exams are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 22-23 at PTEC. The month-long training course begins at the same location May 7.

This course continues to be the premiere training event for FNGLA’s landscape certification program, combining classroom instruction with hands-on training from a combination of horticulture instructors and industry professionals who hold FNGLA’s certifications. Contact Greg Charles, FCHP, at 727-893-2500, ext. 1101 for information on joining the class.

As the leading association for Florida’s nursery and landscape industry, FNGLA’s certification programs recognized throughout the industry as a sign of excellence.
