BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – Profile Products recently announced the addition of Daniel Fick to its sales team and the transfer of regional manager Glen Ballinger. Fick is the new northeast regional sales manager and Ballinger is the new southeast regional sales manager for the company.

Fick has been involved in the turf management industry for over 20 years and has a wide variety of experience from grounds maintenance to field sales. Fick comes to Profile from Northern Nurseries Professional Turf Products in Wind Gap, Pa., where he was a sales representative responsible for developing the sports turf division. Fick has achieved several certifications in the green and turf industry and is a member of numerous professional organizations that include the Keystone Athletic Field Managers Association and the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council. As the northeast regional sales manager, Fick will manage Profile’s sales in the Mid-Atlantic and New England states.

Ballinger has been a regional sales manager with Profile for 12 years and has been closely involved in the sales, distribution, marketing and new product development of Profile’s leading erosion control brands. Ballinger has over 22 years of sales and management experience and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). He received his bachelor’s degree in ornamental horticulture from Delaware Valley College of Agriculture and Science in Doylestown, Pa., and will manage Profile’s sales activities in the southeastern states, which includes Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina.
As regional sales managers, Fick and Ballinger are Profile field representatives who apply their experience and knowledge to assist distributors in providing their distributors’ customers with successful, cost-efficient product applications. This partnership allows Fick and Ballinger to help their distributors work one-on-one with their customers, providing their customers with trusted soil solutions.
Based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., Profile Products manufactures a wide range of erosion control and hydraulic mulch products for the transportation, landfill, golf course, commercial and residential markets.
