Profile Products Names New Executive

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – Profile Products, a manufacturer of erosion control products and inorganic soil amendments, has hired Walter Butman as its new vice president of distribution and international sales. In this position, Butman is responsible for all Profile Products’ national and international distribution and sales efforts. Internationally, Profile Products distributes products to Asia, the Pacific Rim, Europe, South and Central America as well as other regions.

Prior to joining Profile Products, Butman was at Finn Corp. for 11 years; as executive vice president/international sales manager and, prior to that, as director of marketing. Before working for Finn, Butman was the national sales manager for Conwed Fibers for six years. 

Butman graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Ill. with a bachelor’s degree in education. In addition to his work with Profile Products, Butman is a member of the International Erosion Control Association and sits on the Erosion Control and Land & Water magazine advisory boards.
