Project EverGreen Gains New Industry Contributors

Project EverGreen has some new supporters of its work to educate consumers on the benefits of green space.

The work of Project EverGreen continues to receive strong nationwide backing from all areas of the green industry.

According to Den Gardner, Project EverGreen executive director, 19 names were added to the list of contributors to the national non-profit organization during the first quarter of 2006, a number of repeat contributors from 2004 and 2005.

These latest Project EverGreen contributors include: Atwood LawnCare, Bayer Environmental Science, Burton D. Morgan Foundation, The Davey Tree Expert Co., Dow AgroSciences, Fuhrman Landscaping, John Deere C&CE, Kean Landscaping, Lawn Monster, LESCO, Mariani Landscape, Monsanto, National Christmas Tree Association, Ohio Turfgrass Foundation, Precision Laboratories, Inc., ServiceMaster (TruGreen), Sports Turf Managers Association, Spring-Green Lawn Care and Swingle Tree & Lawn Care.

According to Gardner, their participation boosts the support received or committed so far in 2006 beyond comparable 2005 levels. “It is gratifying to have such a wide range of companies, associations and individuals uniting behind our efforts to educate consumers on the importance of preserving and enhancing green spaces,” he says. “We are actively seeking additional support to expand this mission. Anyone who has an interest in helping focus on the positive benefits healthy landscapes and other green spaces provide should contact me at 877-758-4835 or visit our Web site www.projectevergreen.com.”
