GLENDORA, Calif. – Offering professional irrigation contractors the chance to win one of four all-expense paid trips to the 2006 Rose Bowl Game and Rose Parade festivities, Rain Bird Corp. announces the opening of its Championship Getaway sweepstakes. In addition to entering for the chance to see the BCS National Championship, entrants are also eligible to win thousands of additional prizes. Plus, every entrant receives a $10 coupon toward his or her next purchase of Rain Bird 1800 Series sprays and nozzles.
Rain Bird is introducing the Championship Getaway sweepstakes to thank its professional irrigation contractors for choosing Rain Bird 1800 Spray Heads and Nozzles more than all other brands combined. All irrigation contractors are eligible to participate and may enter the sweepstakes online at www.rainbird.com/1800 or by completing a registration form at any authorized Rain Bird distributor. Entries will be accepted until Oct. 31, 2005 and winners will be selected from a random drawing in early November.
Seven days and six nights of fun and excitement await the four Championship Getaway grand-prize winners. Each winner will receive round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for themselves and three guests. In addition to receiving two tickets to the 2006 Rose Bowl Game, winners and their guests will enjoy a day at Disneyland’s California Adventure, join Rain Bird’s exclusive New Year’s Eve party, attend the New Year’s Day Rose Parade and participate in float judging.

One first-prize winner will receive an invitation for himself or herself and two of his or her crewmembers to attend Rain Bird’s Irrigation Training Camp.
