Rain Bird Corporation has, once again, been awarded a Tournament of Roses Parade Trophy. The manufacturer of irrigation products and services won the Grand Marshal Trophy this year for its 2004 entry, “Springtime Symphony.”
The Grand Marshal Trophy traditionally is awarded to the float displaying superior creativity and design – as determined by a panel of judges.
This year’s float portrayed a winter snow thaw in the Grand Canyon’s dense floral forest floor, with families of animals nestled in the scenery. Cascading waterfalls were used, once again, to continue Rain Bird’s tradition of saluting water.
