RedMax distributor sales reps and their guests recently spent a week in Japan visiting many popular tourist attractions, the Komatsu Zenoah factory and the Komatsu technical center. The 21 reps and guests from six distributorships earned the trip by meeting chainsaw sales goals last fall. They were escorted by five members of the Komatsu Zenoah America sales department.
The group toured Komatsu Zenoah headquarters in Kawagoe and the Komatsu Techno Center in Hakone. They were welcomed at a reception and dinner by Komatsu Zenoah management.
Other tours included the Imperial Palace and several temples and shrines, including the great statue of Buddha. At one temple, the group enjoyed a tea ceremony. Shopping opportunities included the Oriental Bazar at Omote-sando, as well as a visit to the Tukljii fish market.
