Reinders has acquired the Toro commercial equipment and golf irrigation distributorship for Chicago, northeast Illinois and Lake County, Indiana, previously handled by Turf Professionals Equipment Co., (TPEC) of St. Louis.
“As part of our strategic growth plan, we are continually seeking opportunities to solidify our position in the marketplace,” says President Craig Reinders, company. “This acquisition, along with our recent store opening in Vernon Hills, allows us to offer a complete line of turf and irrigation products to our golf, landscape, sports turf and grounds maintenance customers in northern Illinois.”
Reinders will continue to operate the TPEC location at 3816 Carnation St. in Franklin Park, Ill. TPEC employees will be joining the company as of January 2.
