Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina, has a requirement for grounds maintenance services. The contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance services on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. The contractor shall perform in accordance with standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Services include, but are not limited to, mowing; trimming; edging; fertilization; leaf removal; pruning shrubs. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed priced contract with a Base Period Nov. 1, 2008-Sept. 30, 2009 and four one-year option periods extending through Sept. 30, 2013.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. KOACO9RL002 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). S--Snow Plow Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a contract for snow removal and de-icing of the parking lots and driveways at the Rome Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Rome, New York. Sidewalk and Building entrance snow shoveling will not be required in this contract.
The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and management to complete snow plowing and de-icing by 6 a.m. EST on days the Rome CBOC is scheduled to be open. The Contractor will begin snow plowing when there is 3 inches or more snowfall and will provide services to keep accumulation of snow at or below that depth. The Contractor will be able to provide a bucket loader to remove snow from the parking lot on an If needed basis.
The Contract will run from Oc. 1- Sep. 30, with performance on the contract estimated to be from November to April. Billing will be in six cycles at the end of the months November, December, January, February, March, and April. Billing for the bucket loader service may be at the monthly billing cycle, or separately at time work is completed.
Interested Bidders must have at least one Winter-season providing similar snow plowing and de-icing services for commercial parking lots of equal or greater size. Bidders must be able to provide full insurance coverage, and must be able to provide business references.
