Description
Mowing and trimming service for Bolivar Park Boat Ramp and Picnic Area, Pomme de Terre Lake, near Hermitage, Mo. Contractor must provide all manpower, equipment, fuel, tools, and supplies necessary to provide mowing and trimming services.
This procurement encompasses the mowing of roadsides, open areas, developed and picnic areas. Limited amounts of cutting by hand where obstructions, rocks, stump, or steepness prevents access by machinery is required. Service period April 1 through Oct. 31, not to exceed 12 mowings. Previous contract $150.00 per mowing.

Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to issue a solicitation for landscaping and grounds maintenance services at all EPA facilities located in the Research Triangle Park, N.C.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide such services. Typical tasks shall include mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, liming, seeding, aerating, recycling yard waste, mulching, pest control, watering, tree and shrub pruning and trimming, weeding, planting of new plants and policing of grounds. Tasks also include the maintaining wet detention ponds, bio-retention areas, storm drainage system, wetland pond, flower beds, and wildflower meadow areas. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and shall participate fully in the agency's Environmental Management System (EMS.)
The RFP will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 561730, Landscaping Services, with a size standard of $5 million.
For informational purposes this contract is a follow on to contract number 68 D-03-048 with Ace Services, Incorporated. Award of a firm fixed price contract with one 12-month base and four 12-month option periods is anticipated. The total duration of the proposed contract is 60 months.
The resultant contract will be awarded in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Offerors will be asked to submit technical and cost proposals for the contract, as well as relevant past performance information.
For this solicitation, all factors, other than cost or price, when combined are more important than cost or price. The anticipated issuance date of the RFP is approximately Jan. 7, 2008. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the RFP issuance date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. No further synopsis will be issued.
A pre proposal conference/site visit will be held approximately seven to ten days after the issuance of the RFP. The details of the pre proposal conference/site visit will be listed in the RFP. The solicitation and amendments will be available at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd.
It will be the offeror's responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.

Description
Pre-solicitation Notice W9127S-08-B-0007: This solicitation will be advertised as Unrestricted under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730 (Landscaping Ser vices).
The small business size standard is $6.5 million. Services provided will include inspection, policing of grounds, mowing and trimming in park, recreational areas, and around other facilities under responsibility of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Clearwater Project Office, located near Piedmont, Mo. The solicitation will include the Service Contract Act Wage Determination for the serviced area. The proposed contract will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Performance Based contract for commercial services. Orders for contracted services will be issued when services are required and funded at the contract unit rates.
The proposed contract will be issued for a base period beginning March 2008 or contract award date through Feb. 28, 2009 and four annual option periods.
Solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) and award will be made to the lowest priced qualified and responsible certified bidder. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on or about Jan. 7, 2008. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractor’s responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
