“Additional warm-season turf varieties tolerant to Revolver were added to the label, including Champion, Mini Verdi, seeded Princess and seeded Riviera varieties and the zoysiagrass varieties Emerald and seeded Champion,“ said Don Myers, herbicide product development manager for Bayer. “For best results, treatments should occur when the average daily temperature is above 70 degrees Fahrenheit. to control mature weeds.”
Other changes include:
- Increased rates for control of volunteer ryegrass, tall fescue and other cool season grasses from 0.2 – 0.6 to 0.1 – 0.8 ounces product per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Application to sprigged bermudagrass may be made no sooner than two weeks after sprigging.
- Application to seeded zoysiagrass may be made up to one week prior to seeding.
