The landscape maintenance requirement includes maintaining lawns, native growth, shrubs, and trees in developed and partially developed areas; operation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems; performance of pruning and shaping; herbicide and insecticide spraying; and other small items of work as requested by the Contracting Officer's Representative.
It is the intent of the government, through this contract, to have a contractor fully maintain the project landscaped areas and perform herbicide and pesticide spraying as defined in the Performance Work Statement without assistance from the Government. The anticipated period of performance under this contract will be a base year with the possibility of four one-year option periods, for a total of up to five years.
