“This conference will offer top turfgrass researchers the opportunity to share their most recent studies with the turfgrass industry and regulatory officials,” said Jim Skillen, manager of formulator issues for RISE. “We are looking forward to learning more about the positive benefits of healthy turf and the environmental impacts of turf maintenance.”
The research presented will be a culmination of several years of studies by leading turf scientists at major universities. Presenters have been conducting studies on the amount of nutrient run-off from healthy turf versus other type landscape and lawns as well as the environmental fate of pesticide products on turf grass.
More details about the Turfgrass Conference will be provided this spring. Visit www.pestfacts.org and www.lawnandlandscape.com for future details.
