ST. CATHERINES, Ontario – Rittenhouse today proudly announced the intriduction of its brand new state-of-the-art E-Commerce Web site in celebration of 91 years of service to its valued customers. In those 91 years Rittenhouse says it has always taken pride in providing the best products coupled with enhanced customer service.
In 1999 Rittenhouse launched its first E-Commerce Web site, where customers could purchase both professional and consumer products online. Over the past five years the popularity of that Web site has grown to over 1.7 million visitors annually, completing thousands of sales worldwide. With over 11,000 products and parts, www.rittenhouse.ca has become one of North America’s largest and most popular horticultural E-Commerce Web sites.

Building on its existing site, the new www.rittenhouse.ca includes such features as:

- The ability to easily reorder the same product
- Improved automated response e-mails
- Greatly improved search mechanism
Rittenhouse says security still remains a top priority, ensuring that customers have a safe and secure online shopping experience. "In today’s rapidly changing technological world, Rittenhouse understands the need to utilize the latest technology," the company said in a news release Tuesday. "With that in mind, Rittenhouse spent over a year developing and perfecting this new state-of-the-art Web site. This new site will provide our customers the best possible online shopping experience."
