Rock Hill Capital invests in Weathermatic

The investment also comes with a co-investment from True West Capital Partners.

Weathermatic has received a minority growth investment led by Rock Hill Capital, with co-investment from True West Capital Partners.

Weathermatic’s platform combines connected irrigation controllers, cloud-based software and field services to help customers manage water use across property portfolios.

Until this investment, Weathermatic’s growth had been funded internally.

“We are entering a pivotal phase of growth, and this investment partnership strengthens Weathermatic’s position to meet increasing demand for water-saving technology and irrigation operations software at scale,” says CEO Mike Mason. “Weathermatic has always been mission-driven, and this capital allows us to accelerate our product innovation roadmap to continue transforming water management and commercial irrigation operations.”

The investment will enable Weathermatic to accelerate product innovation and development of next-generation software features and expand its customer success and operational resources to support continued growth.

“Weathermatic has long understood the operational challenges faced in water management and irrigation operations, and the team has built a platform that creates clear payback for customers by improving efficiency and enabling contractors to scale despite labor constraints," says Randy Hale, founder and managing director of Rock Hill Capital. "Having followed their progress for several years, we are excited to support their growth with capital and strategic resources, including experience evaluating strategic acquisitions and extending Weathermatic’s technology platform into adjacent applications."
