LAYTONSVILLE, Md. - Ruppert Nurseries announces the promotion of Angela Howes to purchaser in its Maryland landscape installation branch.
Howes, who has been with Ruppert for more than nine months, was serving as the branch's administrative assistant. She will be responsible for locating, sourcing and procuring plant material as well as coordinating logistics and quality control as it relates to plant material.
"Angela has demonstrated the energy, attitude and desire that are needed for this position," says Bob Jones, director of landscape installation. "Although there is a huge learning curve that comes with this transition, Angela's organized and thorough approach to everything she does will make her successful in purchasing."
