Five Ruppert Nurseries employees were honored as the company presented its annual awards at a recent corporate gathering.
‘This year’s award winners were recognized as being truly exceptional amongst an outstanding crowd,” said President Chris Davitt. “These individuals set an example with their work ethic, productivity and attitude.”
Following are the descriptions and recipients of each award:
Achievement Award. This award is considered the company’s top honor and is given to the employee demonstrating outstanding job execution and high-quality results throughout the year. Stan Clements (controller), an eight-year Ruppert employee, was recognized for his role in the financial management of the company. Clements resides in Germantown, Md.
Impact Award. This award goes to the employee whose outstanding dedication and contributions have made a positive impact. Oswaldo Reyes (field manager), a nine-year Ruppert employee from Hyattsville, Md., was awarded in the landscape installation division and Oscar Morales (field manager), a nine-year Ruppert employee from Gaithersburg, Md., received the honor in the company’s tree-growing division.
Crewman of the Year Award. This award goes to the crewman who has demonstrated exceptional field production throughout the year. Carlos Rivas, a two-year Ruppert employee, received the honor in the landscape installation division and Jose Cruz, an 11-year Ruppert employee, won the award in the tree-growing division. Rivas and Cruz both are Gaithersburg, Md., residents.
