The San Fernando Valley chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) recently presented several landscape contractors with their Annual Beautification Awards. This year’s theme was “Quest for Excellence.” Held at the Knollwood Country Club in Granada Hills, the annual awards competition offers CLCA the opportunity to recognize contractors whose work stands above the rest.
The goal of the awards program is to encourage interest in landscaping; to recognize craftsmen who produce outstanding landscapes; to create pride in superior workmanship; and to bestow public recognition on companies, institutions, municipalities and residents for their interest in a beautiful California. In all, there were 17 first place award winners, 11 were recognized for outstanding achievement and 8 were honored with kudos in special award categories.
