School for Advanced Segmental Paving (SASP) is offering a new course to pair with its popular “Foundations Skills for Paver Construction” three-day course. “Foundations Skills for Segmental Retaining Wall Construction” will typically follow the Paver Construction course.
Students will have the option of taking the courses separately or both consecutively. Taking both courses consecutively provides a full week of training. This new 1½ day hands-on course will cover layout, elevations, excavation, leveling pad construction, drainage, backfill and compaction, Geo-Grid installation, and capping. As with all of its hands-on courses, students will enjoy breakfast, catered lunches, comfortable classroom facilities and the year-round indoor training arena.
The curriculum is tailored to all levels of experience. Courses are limited to 12 students and fill up fast. Visit the SASP’s website, www.paverschool.com, to register or for more details on upcoming classes.
