Schiller-Pfeiffer Acquires Classen Mfg.

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. – Schiller-Pfeiffer, manufacturer of the Little Wonder and Mantis brands of landscaping and gardening products, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Classen Mfg., Norfolk, Neb. The purchase includes all Classen Mfg. branded products, branding licenses, patents and the rights therein. 

Classen Mfg. has a well-respected reputation in manufacturing high quality commercial turf and lawn care products, including sod cutters, turf aerators, core aerators, turf rakes and turf seeders.

The Norfolk manufacturing facility, with 25 employees, will continue to manufacture Classen products. Larry Classen will become general manager of the Norfolk facility to assure a smooth transition. “I am pleased to be associated with Schiller-Pfeiffer and look forward to even faster growth with our new combined team,” Classen says.

Classen products will maintain the Classen Mfg. brand name and will be sold through Schiller-Pfeiffer’s established distribution network and Classen’s strong rental associations.
