Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – With roughly 300 people in attendance, the Lawn & Landscape School of Management Conference has offered participants hours of valuable information to help in their quest for success in the green industry. Packed with business advice from well-known speakers, the educational program has focused on such topics as strategic business planning, basic business practices and employee development.
Other topical sessions have been based on the specifics of landscape lighting, hardscapes, H2B resources, pond and water features, landscape distribution and other significant industry-related topics.
The conference, running Feb. 8-11, added a new feature this year – the outdoor equipment demo. A group of industry manufacturers showed off their equipment at the Palm Aire Country Club on Feb. 9.
