Looking for a subcontractor, an industry specialist, a certified technician? Search no further than BuildCertified.com, a database with more than 12,000 names of certified specifiers, contractors and other professionals in building design, construction and facility management.
Now, those searching the free site can find 2,000 certified contractors from the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA). Those listed are certified landscape professionals and certified landscape technicians for both interior and exterior applications.
Created by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), the site and is administered by SpecSource.com and is one of the largest construction directories available to contractors. "Before BuildCertified.com, building owners, managers, contractors and others spend valuable time trying to find local certified professionals," noted Lisa Derby, director of events management, CSI, Alexandria, Va., in a recent release. "Adding certified landscape professionals and technicians makes this site even more efficient because the database now encompasses a wider range of well-qualified people who can be located quickly and easily."
