Treemendous Landscape Co. of Plainfield, Ill., has merged with Great Impressions, the residential division of Sebert Landscaping in Bartlett, Ill. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Treemendous, a residential design/build and maintenance firm was founded 20 years ago by Jeff Korhan, a Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) board member. Sebert Landscaping, founded in 1985, ranked 79th on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 List last year with $18 million in revenue. The firm acquired Great Impression in 2006 to focus exclusively on the residential market, establishing a Naperville, Ill., branch that’s being expanded to service the Treemendous clients.
“This partnership blends two common philosophies to create a stronger company that is positioned to competitively serve the increasingly sophisticated customers in our markets,” says Korhan, who will serve as a consultant to the merged companied while pursing his speaking and consulting business, True Nature.
