HAWTHORNE, N.J. – As competition increases and capital expenses rise, many landscape contractors are turning to low-voltage landscape lighting as a profitable add-on.
Lighting manufacturer CAST Lighting, Hawthorne, N.J., has created a one-day, hands-on landscape lighting training that has launched hundreds of contractors into this growing business. These trainings, designed by CAST Lighting founder David Beausoleil take place on residential job sites. Participants design and install a 30 fixture system and by the end of the day are qualified to install their own jobs.
David Beausoleil, who also teaches the topic at Rutgers University, bases his company’s success on these training sessions.
“The method we teach is based on years of installation experience, “ he says. “This CAST method when used in combination with our solid bronze fixtures, Spider Splice junctions and advanced transformers results in lighting systems that last a lifetime.”
CAST Lighting will be giving 20 seminars this fall in 13 states. Space is limited so contractors are encouraged to register early. More information can be found at www.cast-lighting.com or by calling 800/914-CAST.
