Well, now you can – but time is running out.
The deadline for the Picture Perfect Lawn Award is Sept. 30. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to receive recognition for the superior work you do each year through photos of your clients’ properties. You never know – your photo might win and could be published in a 2004 issue of the magazine.
The award, which is sponsored by the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) and Lawn & Landscape, recognizes work on residential, commercial and public service (volunteer) sites and in two different climates – a cool-season and warm-season turf. And it is presented at PLCAA's Annual Meeting & Dinner during the Annual Conference in St. Louis, Nov. 5-8. In addition to a photo of each winner being published in a 2004 issue of Lawn & Landscape magazine with a small write-up about his or her company, each winner will receive a $200 travel voucher from Travel WorldWide Network and PLCAA for travel expenses to PLCAA's Annual Conference & GIE in 2004.
All contractors are eligible to enter the award and there is no entry fee. The property you photograph must have been under the care of your company for at least one season.
PLCAA members view photos at the Annual Conference and vote on their favorites. Then, votes are counted and winners announced at the Annual Meeting & Dinner.
All entries must include 1) A completed entry form; 2) A recent photo of your contact person or person in charge of the project; 3) Two 8 x 10 glossy photos of your entry property, both labeled on the back with your company name, contact name, address, phone and category for which you are applying; 4) Send all entries by Sept. 30 to: PLCAA – Picture Perfect Lawn Award, 1000 Johnson Ferry Road, NE, Suite C-135, Marietta, Ga. 30068-2112.
