CARMEL, Ind. – SePRO Corp., announces the purchase of certain assets of Griffin’s Turf, Nursery, Ornamental and Aquatics (TNO&A) business. The acquisition includes:
- Avast!® and Avast! SRP ® aquatic herbicides,
- Komeen® aquatic herbicide and algaecide,
- K-Tea™ and K-Pool™ aquatic algaecides,
- Junction® fungicide/bactericide,
- Pentathalon® fungicide,
- Spin Out® plant growth regulator,
- Camelot® ornamental fungicide,
- And rights to Vendex® miticide and Kocide® 2000 TNO fungicide.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Griffin was purchased by DuPont in November 2003.
“The purchase of Griffin’s TNO&A product line will strengthen SePRO’s current fungicide, herbicide and algaecide product line and provide SePRO with additional specialized products that are a perfect complement to our existing product portfolio and areas of business focus,” says Bryce McMillan, vice president of marketing and sales for SePRO. “These quality products will provide SePRO additional opportunities to fund our technical research and development efforts in these niche markets, allowing us to serve our specialty customers better.”
