DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.— The ServiceMaster Co. has named Dennis Sutton president of TruGreen ChemLawn, the company announced Friday.
"Dennis has proven that he has the strategic vision and the willingness to bring innovation to the business," says Jonathan Ward, chairman and chief executive officer. "As president, his experience and expertise will be a great asset as he leads the TruGreen team to greater growth and accomplishment."
Last November, Sutton was promoted to chief operating officer and interim president of the company after former TruGreen President Don Karnes and former President and COO David Slott left the company to form the pest control division of Sunair Electronics. Prior to his role as chief operating officer and interim president, Dennis served at TruGreen LawnCare as division vice president and was promoted to senior vice president in July of 2004. He has been with the TruGreen Companies since 1978. Dennis is a 1978 graduate of Purdue University.
ServiceMaster currently provides outsourcing services for residential and commercial customers through a network of over 5,500 company-owned and franchised service centers and business units operating under leading brands which include Terminix, TruGreen ChemLawn, TruGreen LandCare, ARS Service Express, Rescue Rooter, American Mechanical Services, ServiceMaster Clean, American Home Shield, AmeriSpec, Merry Maids and Furniture Medic.
