DANBURY, Conn. – Horticultural and landscape product distributor Shemin Nurseries, announced recently that Bob Wall has been appointed General Manager of its Greenwich, Conn. and Bedford Hill locations.
Having been with Shemin Nurseries for more than 20 years, Bob brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has successfully held a variety of leadership positions in sales, management and operations.
After attending the University of Connecticut’s Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture, Bob began his green industry career as a sales representative for a horticultural sales company. In 1983, he joined Shemin as a salesperson in what was then the company’s third location in Atlanta, Ga. From there he moved to Shemin’s Hudson, Mass. facility where he has held a variety of operational and sales management positions. Most recently, Bob was General Manager of the Shemin’s Hudson facility and the combined Boston/Hartford market.
Bob’s enthusiastic leadership, in-depth industry knowledge and dedication to customer service will ensure Shemin continues help its customers grow and to provide them with the quality, variety, availability and service they have come to expect.
