Authorities have raided several locations of a Phoenix-area landscaping business, arresting nearly three dozen people, some of whom are believed to be illegal immigrants.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office served the search warrants at Artistic Land Management in Mesa and Chandler Aug. 27.
The sheriff's office says it is investigating potential violations of Arizona's new employer sanctions law.
Calls to the company were not immediately returned.
In June, the sheriff's office arrested nine illegal immigrants at two amusement parks in Mesa and north Phoenix and said the bust might lead to an employer sanctions case. So far it has not.
No employer sanctions cases have been brought to court since the law took effect in January.
