Shindaiwa recently announced a $5,000 donation to the Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC). The EETC was established in 1997 to help address the overall shortage of qualified service technicians, and is represented by manufacturers, distributors, dealers, associations, technical schools, and colleges. The mission of the EETC is to promote high performance, ethical standards, and excellence in education and training throughout the industry.

"This generous donation from Shindaiwa will help us continue to offer dealers and schools more support when looking for qualified service technicians,” said Jim Roche, EETC Executive Director. “We have just finished developing a pre-employment test that dealers can use to measure an applicants skill level. We constantly receive great ideas from dealers and schools for new programs. This generous donation from Shindaiwa will help us continue to develop these programs which will serve the entire power equipment industry."
