Shindaiwa recently held its first distributor meeting for European distributors since the formation of the Shindaiwa Hand Held Division.
Eighteen distributor personnel from Ireland to Turkey participated in the two-day event, located in Cologne, Germany. During the meeting, distributors gained further insight in to the global vision and strategic approach of the Tualatin, Ore.-based company.
“Our charter is to plan our work, and work our plan. We will strive to deliver complete customer satisfaction through value-added services, offering a broad range of high-quality and market-specific products, and the implementation of frequent and salient sales programs,” noted Tom Bunch, president of the Shindaiwa Hand Held Division
Starting in early 2004, Shindaiwa will facilitate its first ever European Distributor Advisory Council. A team of four distributors will discuss, critique and offer recommendations regarding Shindaiwa products, programs and training support.
“The theme of the meeting was appropriately called a ‘Journey to Excellence,’” observed Joaquim Verdasca of the Verdasco Company, a Shindaiwa distributor and Advisory Council member from Portugal. “From everything we heard at the meeting I am super excited about our future with Shindaiwa.”
