Power: At 79.2cc displacement, the 4.3
hp (3.2kW) engine produces an impressive output with an airspeed of 224 MPH and volume of 762 CFM at tube tip – increased power translates to getting the job done quicker. No doubt, the Shindaiwa EB802
is one of the most powerful 2-cycle blowers on the market today.
Durability: Built tough, the EB802 features a two-ring piston design and closed-ported 4-bolt chrome-plated cylinder for maximum durability.
Reliability: An efficient two-stage air filter system features easy access two-thumbscrew cover and heavy duty sealing. The foam pre-filter and pleated air filter design provides more effective surface area. The vertical mount filter is designed to be self-cleaning to reduce dust build-up on
pleats.
According to Pete Fernald, Shindaiwa director of technical services, “A very unique and special feature of the EB802 is its new and innovative intake leaf guard design. It’s very effective in minimizing risk of overheating from leaf blockage because of its downward slopping fins. The debris just harmlessly falls away when off peak throttle.”
Usability: The ultimate in comfort for the professional user, the EB802 features a newly designed and ergonomic light-weight frame with a comfortable shoulder harness system that reduces pressure points felt by the operator. Dual, fully padded shoulder strap adjustments allow the user to easily fine tune fit for nonbinding comfort and reduced fatigue which translates to increased productivity.
Flexibility: In addition, the EB802 features a convenient “hush mode” switch which reduces the sound level to 65 dB(A) meeting many city-enforced noise ordinances so there is no need for a separate “quiet” blower.
