TUALATIN, Ore. – Shindaiwa recently honored three dealers for their outstanding sales of Shindaiwa hedge trimmers. The three Shindaiwa dealers receiving the awards are Boca Raton Small Engines, Boca Raton, Fla.; Gardenland Power Equipment, Campbell, Calif., and Green Thumb Mower Sales & Service, Tamarac, Fla. Each dealer received a special “first production” commemorative Shindaiwa HT2510 hedge trimmer mounted in a glass display case.
Green Thumb, a family owned and operated outdoor power equipment dealer for 30 years, believes in the power of effective retailing with custom built signs and wall-to-wall displays, according to co-owner Joe Biesterfeld. “In-store marketing pays the most dividends for a dealer,” Biesterfeld says.
Gardenland Power Equipment was established in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1960 by Ray and Lucy Matsumoto. According to Steve Hoctor, Territory Sales Manager for long-time Shindaiwa distributor, Scotsco, “Gardenland has been promoting the Shindaiwa product line for many years and with great success."
