Simplot Partners Acquires Products From Eco Soil Systems

The more than 40 acquired products are all part of the ESSI specialty products line, which includes soil surfactants, wetting agents, spray dye indicators, foliar nutrients, biostimulants, spray adjuvants and tank cleaners. Included in the acquired products are:

• 6 Iron Plus™ (12-0-0) is a liquid nitrogen fertilizer that contains 6 percent iron. The iron is chelated to enter the vegetative parts of the plant rapidly, even in soils with higher electrical conductivity, and it translocates in the plant's vascular tissue without any phytotoxic effects.



• Brilliance™ alleviates soil water repellency, thereby enhancing the infiltration and overall movement of water in the root zone to provide enhanced turf performance.



• Rely II™ is formulated to establish consistent water flow into and throughout the root zone. It can be applied at any time of the year.



• Trident™ (4-0-1) improves root mass and depth in addition to overall plant vitality and visual quality.

Simplot Partners was originally formed when the J.R. Simplot Co. acquired the Turf Partners distribution network from ESSI, and renamed it in July 2000 (see Eco Soil’s Turf Partners Sale To J.R. Simplot Amended and J.R. Simplot Finalizes Two Acquisitions: ABT and Turf Partners). This acquisition of the specialty products line by Simplot Partners concludes its affiliation with its former parent company.
